My name is Leticia Moraes, chemist and PhD in materials science. I create scientific visuals that help researchers communicate their work with clarity, precision, and impact. With a scientific background and a love for visual arts, my work is rooted in a deep understanding of scientific concepts, allowing me to translate complex data and ideas into clear, visually compelling illustrations.
Throughout my academic journey, from teaching and mentoring to conducting research in advanced materials and sustainability, I developed a strong appreciation for how powerful good visuals can be in science. I founded Studio Moraes to combine that scientific expertise with a passion for visual design, creating custom illustrations that are not only accurate, but thoughtfully created to elevate each project.
Working remotely from the United States, I collaborate with researchers, labs, and science-driven teams worldwide, helping bring their ideas to life through refined visual communication.
